2015, Ukraine, Flora of Ukraine
Although the walnut plantations are small, Ukraine is among the top five exporters of shelled walnuts. The Dutch Royal Court values them so highly that they have been on the menu there for more than 20 years.
Me neither. One report I found online from 2016 said they were worried they'd be bumped out of the top 10 by Moldova. But by July 2018 there was anticipation of reaching #3.

I would have used this stamp for 'W'. Squirrels bury these in our lawn even though there is no tree within 800 yards.
Not a country I would have associated with export of walnuts, I like Ukraine's flora stamps.
that's funny - but maybe also strategic on their part.
(I'm almost at the end of the alphabet using only countries for each letter)

Interesting that the stamp showcases the plant more than the nut we are all familiar with.
I like the stamp, as I like this tree a lot. There used to be more of these around here when I was a child.
