The horses on Sable Island are wild and protected from humans. It is illegal to touch, feed or treat them. They have suvrived on the island since the 1700s and have stocky bodies with thick woolly, shaggy coats.

That's a nice one. I like the sketchy-ness of it. So, do they have to round them up periodically to keep numbers down, like with the ones on Assateague in Virginia?
