gingerbread

I managed to buy these Christmas stamps before the post office went on strike, but have not had a chance to use them. They went on strike Nov 15 ... update: they are back! and mail is moving.

Anyway, these gingerbread houses are different from the ones the USPS issued in 2013.  Ours feature a birdhouse (Canada), a doghouse (US), and a barn (International)

I have read that Canada Post restarted operations on December 17th, so I thought the strike was over. Anyway, there is no strike here, but I get no mail: one delivery in November, two deliveries in December after two complaints... :(

My scarce Christmas stamps are here (Some of them sent by you!).

I like the inventive Canadian gingerbread creations. Good stamp planning from you.

That is a shame that Christmas cards are not going to be part of Christmas for most Canadians this year. This are fun stamps, perhaps you can use them on new year mail.

My Christmas collection is here https://envelope100.blogspot.com/2024/12/christmas-sunday-stamps.html

Those are all adorable! My post office was out of Christmas stamps. I waited too long, kind of forgot until I got a card from my brother!

Lovely gingerbread houses. They remind me of Hansel and Gretel
