large fish

perhaps the fastest fish in the sea, a sailfish can reach speeds of over 100km/hr

whereas a whale shark can only reach speeds of less than 5km/hr

Both like warm or temperate seas, though neither fish can be found in the Mediterranean

The whale shark is pretty and what a magnificent sight it must be to see a sailfish jumping out of the water. Alas no temperate waters around here although the Atlantic is warmer than normal at the moment
My seafarers are here

they each have their own personal pattern of spots, which is kinda cool. also, their mouths, when open, are 5" wide!!
