families

a family of one... which, as we know got complicated

and a larger family, which will have complications enough for this mama lion

and an even larger family who will all stick together


next month we will celebrate the colours of spring - even if spring hasn't yet arrived where you live

I've taken numerous photos of goslings in my local park but never seen 16 together, that is quite a brood.
My young are here

I have seen such multiples of Canada Geese goslings but it's sometimes hard to tell who they all belong to.

The Canada geese here seem to have several mothers in the flock. They make a quite a show stopping scene, literally traffic, when they cross streets!
