Possibly, in a totally unscientific poll, this is the most popular building to appear on postcards from Toronto

A 98 room mansion, considered North America's only true castle, a city owned landmark in the middle of Toronto
It is now a museum and event centreI wrote more about it on my previous blog many years ago which you can read here (and see more postcards)

It is an impressive building.
I had totally forgotten the Casa Loma. So I was wondering which is the most famous building in Toronto :)
Where does its name come from?
It is a literally a 'castle' built on a hill. I used to live near there, it is a steep climb and there is a sweeping view down to the city and the lake (217 feet above Lake Ontario)
