tulips

 

Holland is the first country that comes to mind with tulips.  Above is Keukenhof and below are the tulips donated to Canada as a thank you for sheltering the future Queen Juliana during WWII

Most tulips around here are done and gone. I have a very few, I'm must not found of them. They make a pretty display on postcards though!

We are still waiting for our tulips, so there is that to look forward to. The Ottawa tulip festival starts on May 9th.
