This one from Belarus was also tricky. Turns out it is a 'common raccoon dog' which is not at all a raccoon. Or a dog. It is a canid that is closely related to a fox. They are widespread in eastern Europe and Asia.
The Moravian Museum is easily translatable. Okay, I had to google translate 'zemske' (regional)
and, this is obviously the Bavarian Forest, in full winter splendour
I cannot read Chinese either, but the translator says the fruit is avocado.

DeleteI used google lens too to find the fruit, and then I noticed that Eve already did it 😆. The raccoon dog is really cute.

DeleteI don't see smooth avocados very often, but now that I'm told those are avocados I remember they come that way! I thought some sort of pear, but then again, avocados are called alligator pears.
