Sunday Stamps II - 50

One of a series of Calligraphy stamps issued in 2012. The others in the set were written in Arabic, Latin, Chinese and Greek. On each stamp is written "write to each other" or "write me" - in Hindi "Ek Dusre ko Likhan"

  4. A super message, I love the colour shading on the stamp. Belgium seems to be a country fond of 'words only' on their stamps, I wonder if the Flemish/French divide has an influence on this.

      The other 4 are just as gorgeous, and feature calligraphy in English, Greek, Chinese and Arabic

      All stamps are very beautiful, gorgeous indeed!
      And funny, you mention English, I see Dutch and the words say Latin (Lateinisch in German) :-) Well, at least Latin is the root of our writing :-)
