Love old fashioned cards, flowers and sayings. When I was growing up we had several peony plants around our house. In fact, I have a start of one of those plants that I have managed to keep alive through several moves and decades. Peonies are beautiful, but one doesn't see them often these days. Nice post.

"Wilt" is not a good word to use with a flower. Still, a splendid card. I love a peony.

ReplyDeleteVery sweet, although the card would probably read better if 'wilt' and Sublime' were on different lines. I had the image of a peony wilting sublimely.
