seaway

Construction began on the St Lawrence Seaway in 1954 and was completed in 1959.  
A series of locks, of which the St Lambert in Montreal is the first, allow for ships to travel between the Atlantic and the Great Lakes

    This is SO COOL. What an amazing blog concept. We were in Atlanta in May and couldn't find postcards anywhere and my daughter was so unimpressed.
