pre 1999

This map card does not include the newest territory, Nunavut, which was created in 1999. It comprises the eastern portion of the Northwest Territories seen on the card.

The country's shape is perfect to get in all the symbols. I like the Mountie and lighthouse bracketing it.

It's a wonderful postcard with the icons. I'm able to understand most of it except for Quebec. I have a significant number of friends whom I wish to visit in Canada and I hope I can make this dream come true in the not so far future. Thanks for sharing this card!

Yes, the Quebec bit is rather busy!
It shows Chateau Frontenac (a railway hotel in Quebec City), a horse drawn carriage (Quebec City and Montreal) and a skier (skiing in the Laurentians)

well, except for the Maritimes - I think Green Gables is larger than PEI!
The lighthouse is Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia.
